Biblical Skills Group: Need some help with the Biographical assignment on Elijah? Let’s start by using some of the skills we’ve already covered. First, let’s use Observation. I’ll give you 3 to start with:
Observation
- He was fed by ravens.
- He held a contest with the prophets of Baal to see who the “true God” was. He won. All the prophets of Baal were killed.
- Elijah was dressed in hair and a leather belt.
What we are really after is “What is God saying to me?” Here is an application for me. What did Scriptures reveal to you?
Application
- God provides the necessary needs in order to complete His work in me.
